One of our favorite things about the Local Flower Extravaganza is getting to celebrate the people who grow the flowers we love to bring into the shop.
For our Third Annual Local Flower Extravaganza, we’re partnering with growers from across Wisconsin, each bringing their own beautiful selection of seasonal flowers, foliage, and farm-grown goods. From small flower farms to greenhouses and our very own Milwaukee Flower Co. farm, these growers are helping us fill La Terre with an abundance of locally grown beauty from September 24–26.

And, of course, we can’t talk about our growers without mentioning our own flower farm.
Milwaukee Flower Co. has its roots in the same belief that inspires the Local Flower Extravaganza: that there is something special about flowers grown close to home. Our Mequon flower farm gives us the opportunity to grow seasonal blooms of our own, alongside the flowers we source from other local growers throughout Wisconsin
For the Extravaganza, our own harvest will join the flowers from our fellow Wisconsin growers, filling the shop with an abundant mix of locally grown blooms. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see just how much beauty is being grown right here in our own state.
Come Meet the Growers
From September 24–26, the harvests from these growers will come together at La Terre, creating an incredible selection of locally grown flowers, foliage, and local heirloom pumpkins.
Come by, wander through the shop, choose your favorites from the European Flower Bar, and make your own hand-tied bouquet with help from our designers. It’s a chance to experience just how much beauty is being grown right here in Wisconsin, and to celebrate the growers who make it possible.
